What To Expect
Leave Puerto Vallarta’s tourist area behind and spend a day experiencing authentic Mexican ranch life at Rancho Mi Abuelo. Your adventure begins at our designated meeting point, with included transportation through the scenic countryside to the ranch.
Meet Cowboy Nick and take part in traditional ranch activities. Learn how to milk a cow, discover how fresh artisan cheese is made, interact with friendly farm animals, and enjoy a horseback ride surrounded by nature.
Continue the experience by making handmade tortillas and traditional salsa in a molcajete, followed by a delicious ranch-style meal. You’ll also enjoy a guided tequila and mezcal tasting.
To finish the day, relax and cool off in our natural spring pools surrounded by mountains and tropical nature before returning to the meeting point.
More than a horseback ride, Cowboy for a Day is an immersive experience combining Mexican ranch culture, traditional food, animals, nature, and adventure just outside Puerto Vallarta.
