What To Expect
Learn to dive into one of the top destinations in the world with a 5-star PADI center. Start your day with a fun and comprehensible introduction to the world of scuba diving with a highly qualified PADI certified Dive Instructor.
Enjoy a 50-minute scenic boat ride to a secluded beach paradise in the south of Puerto Vallarta, known as Las Caletas. Once there, continue with an introductory dive at the beautiful, protected coves of Las Caletas. Beginners can explore the treasures of Banderas Bay with the oversight and safety of our expert dive instructors.
This all-inclusive experience is perfect for first-time divers or anyone that has dived before but has still not completed a full certification program.

No, you don’t need to have any previous Scuba experience, but you must be able to swim without a flotation device.
Mar 2022Participants in the Discover Scuba experience at Las Caletas, Puerto Vallarta cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
