On this walking tour, you’ll get to explore the tourism and the local faces of Vallarta. Marvel at the architecture, the cobblestone streets, the views to the bay. Sculptures, murals, folk art will fill in the art elements. Beautiful flowers, plants, and animals that make the city prettier and provide the natural touch.
You will learn about what and how Pto. Vallarta was created, as I guide you one step at a time, we will then enjoy a nice lunch at a popular local restaurant, offering different Mexican dishes on a varied menu.

What To Expect
The tour departs from Plaza Hidalgo, right in front of Maria del Refugio Church and head to “The Malecon” (boardwalk) in downtown Puerto Vallarta. Walk with your guide along the Malecon and marvel at the different sculptures and representations along the street. We will stop at the heart of Vallarta, it’s the main square, where we will sample the famous TUBA beverage, visit the beautiful Lady of Guadalupe church and the City hall! After that, we will go to the area known as the Gringo Gulch, the Cuale River and its island; you’ll have some time to do some souvenir shopping at the country flea market. It time allows we can visit a local market at the romantic zone, and also a Tequila shop, where an expert will explain the process of making this well-known beverage. There is, of course, some tasting of the different kinds and flavors. Then, it’s lunchtime, we will sit down to relax and enjoy a nice meal at a Mexican family-owned restaurant. Here the tour ends.
