If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, booking this tour with Alex is an absolute MUST! From start to finish, the entire day was pure perfection. Alex is a wonderful guide—warm, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great company to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you meet. The itinerary itself is balanced so well: you get a fun hike through beautiful scenery, plenty of time to relax and swim, and fantastic spots for snorkeling (Playa Majahuitas and Quimixto are just breathtaking!). Alex knows all the best local details, facts, and hidden spots, which makes the whole experience feel personal and unique rather than just another commercial tour. It was truly a perfect day, and Alex made it so memorable. I couldn't recommend him highly enough—10/10! Thank you, Alex! ❤️

Our lesson with Daniel was incredible. He was a great instructor, explained very well how to understand and read the waves, and absolutely made me a more confident surfer. As a beginner lessons can be hit or miss, but this was one of the best lessons I’ve had. Such a kind person and very easy to ask questions to. I would absolutely recommend booking with Amino surf school!

Our tour was a really special experience! We went to a macaw sanctuary and learned about conservation efforts to protect and re-populate the indigenous macaw population. We saw a total of anout 30-35 nesting birds, in pairs and family units. It was inspiring to say the least! After the macaws, we had an amazing breakfast at a tiny restaurant where we were treated like family. After breakfast we hiked a trail up along a small river. At the top we found a beautiful waterfall and lagoon, where we swam for an hour or so in the crisp clear river water. It was so refreshing! During the entire half day together, Curiel was a constant source of happy banter, interesting information about the local environment and people. Being a local, or “Pata Salada” he certainly knows his way around. I highly recommend his tours!

Not just a hike, Mismaloya is a lifetime adventure
I can’t say enough positive things about Curiel. He’s the owner of this business and currently is the only guide. We did the Mismaloya Waterfall hike on our first day of our trip and it was the highlight of my week. I went during the rainy season which I’m a fan of the jungle. Just prepare for the humidity and heat. So a lot of water and electrolytes as it’s not an easy short hike but I was well aware of that. Curiel brought snacks, electrolytes to share, took us to a small local restaurant in the mountains before a hike for some of the best birria I have ever had. The breakfast was paid for by Curiel. He took on the hike with just my wife and I with 1 day notice. So he happened to be open the day I was available and made an amazing adventure. Curiel is very knowledgeable about the plants, birds, and wildlife in general. He also has an amazing personality and is very friendly and outgoing. I will definitely only be booking with Curiel for my future hikes.

Worth the price! You spend a good amount of time out here around 5 hours. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are very nice. It’s not crowded at all it best for a great experience with family, friends or your lover.

Definitely worth the price. Pick up meeting spot was easy to find at a Starbucks. The ride there was smooth and the staff were very nice and amazing. Make sure you hydrate! We felt very safe and the food was delicious.

We had a fantastic experience on this hiking tour. Before the trip even started, the company sent thorough prep tips and guidance that made us feel confident and well-equipped going in — nothing was left to guesswork. Our guide was the highlight of the trip. He clearly knew the trail inside and out, and he adjusted the pace and approach based on our group's experience level, which made the hike feel tailored rather than one-size-fits-all. He was warm and friendly throughout, and when a few of us were struggling with our packs, he didn't hesitate to help carry our stuff — a small gesture that made a big difference. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a well-organized hike with a guide who genuinely cares about the group's experience! Trail itself is a lot of fun too!

It was a great and memorable experience. Lunch was delicious too with good vegetarian options. Horses were so well trained and well behaved that they make trail riding pleasurable. Ziplining was great too.Just minor feedback to the crew is to make sure to pick up the trash/water bottles at the waterfall hiking point. I saw empty water bottles lying there and we don't want to disturb the pristine environment there.

Excellent time and a great adventure. The crew is engaging and very kind and it was a great time! I have one daughter who is afraid of heights and the other is a major thrill seeker, both were extremely comfortable and enjoyed the trip. The group leaders did a wonderful job helping to ensure everyone felt safe and confortable while also having a great time. Everyone was very engaged and practiced safety. There is a nice river pool and water slides and swings at the end of the trip and included is also some animals to pet, hold or just visit. There is also a restaurant on site and the food was absolutely delicious. Great staff and we felt very safe. There are lockers for your bags, there are bathrooms and changing rooms available if you want to swim afterwards. There is also water stops along the zip line trails which was great because it was hot! Edgar, Alexis, Fernando, Chica and all the rest of the crew were fun, funny, and made it a great experience! Will recommend to all friends and family traveling to Puerto Vallarta
