We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Our guide, Pablo, and our boat captain, Ricardo, were both excellent. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shared so much interesting information about the wildlife, birds, plants, and everything we were seeing along the way. From beginning to end, they made us feel like we were their number one priority.I was personally pretty nervous about getting into the water. I’m not someone who typically goes very far into water when I can’t see the bottom and add nighttime AND a cave to that, and I was definitely a little freaked out! 😂Pablo was incredibly patient, encouraging, and reassuring. He told me he would stay right beside me, and he absolutely did. I never felt pressured, and once I decided to get in, he made sure I felt safe the entire time. He was also constantly looking out for everyone else in our group while we were in the water. Because of his encouragement, I was able to experience something I probably would not have done otherwise and I’m so glad I did! It was such a cool experience, and everyone had an amazing time.Pablo’s care didn’t end when the tour was over either. He made sure arrangements were taken care of for each couple in our group and that everyone had a safe way to get back to their hotel.We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. If you have the opportunity, definitely ask for Pablo! He truly went above and beyond to make the entire experience safe, fun, informative, and memorable. And a huge thank you to Ricardo as well for taking such great care of us on the boat!

Included very nice hike(optional), moderate difficulty for average person. Trails were slippery but very clearly marked. Garden was extremely beautiful. Guide was amazing, photographer very good. Tequila was very good, a little pricerier than expected for the optional purchase. Lunch was delicious but if not choosing the lunch included menu be aware you will be forced to get food at the same restaurant(pretty pricy as well compared to other restaurants in town) due to remote location.

If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, booking this tour with Alex is an absolute MUST! From start to finish, the entire day was pure perfection. Alex is a wonderful guide—warm, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great company to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you meet. The itinerary itself is balanced so well: you get a fun hike through beautiful scenery, plenty of time to relax and swim, and fantastic spots for snorkeling (Playa Majahuitas and Quimixto are just breathtaking!). Alex knows all the best local details, facts, and hidden spots, which makes the whole experience feel personal and unique rather than just another commercial tour. Michael was AMAZING - he has such incredible knowledge of the birds and trees in the area and we had such a fabulous time spotting nearly 50 types of birds! We're fairly new to birding and this was such a special experience that has fueled us wanting to do birding more frequently. Our day with Obi Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our week in Puerto Vallarta!We booked the private Sayulita and San Pancho tour for our group of six, and from the moment Obi and Elizabeth picked us up in their clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van, we knew we were in good hands.Throughout the day, they shared so much knowledge about Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the places we visited. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and they made every stop interesting and enjoyable.One of our favorite surprises was a stop at a roadside fruit stand where they had arranged a tasting of several local fruits. It was such a fun experience that we never would have found on our own.The tequila tasting was another unforgettable part of the day. It was entertaining, informative, and honestly featured the best tequila we’ve ever had! We learned so much and had a great time.In Sayulita, they took us to a wonderful beachfront restaurant before giving us free time to explore the town at our own pace. We also loved visiting beautiful San Pancho.One of the most thoughtful touches was that Elizabeth took photos throughout the entire tour—both candid and posed—and shared them with us afterward at no extra charge. It allowed us to simply enjoy the day while knowing the memories were being captured.What really sets Obi Tours apart is that this didn’t feel like a typical tour. It felt like spending the day with two wonderful people who genuinely love sharing their home and culture with their guests.If we’re fortunate enough to visit Puerto Vallarta again, we’ll absolutely be booking another tour with Obi and Elizabeth. This was a fun tour experience! The tour guides knew their Puerto Vallarta history and shared relevant stories from the the past to current times. There are a lot great and fun things coming to PV and Obi Tours will be a great addition to any vacation plans! They had great energy and attitude. They were able to answer our questions and provide a safe and comfortable travel experience. They even gave us a small cake as a gesture to a birthday we were celebrating! Highly recommend Obi Tours!

Our experience with the tour was exceptional, largely due to our outstanding driver and guide, Cervando. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, and knows Puerto Vallarta like the palm of his hand. What made the tour particularly valuable was the opportunity to experience both the modern, popular tourist areas and the less-touristy, more authentic parts of Puerto Vallarta. The contrast between these areas provided a unique perspective and made the tour much more interesting and memorable. Cervando was accommodating, attentive, considerate, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire experience. His professionalism and local knowledge greatly enhanced the tour.

Terrific day trip!
How delightful to be picked up at our hotel on time by Jose (Pepe), a true PV native, who drove us up the mountain to San Sebastian and gave us plenty of history and tips along the way. This is butterfly season - we drove through swarms of butterflies on the way into the Sierra Madre. The tequila/raicilla tasting at Don Lalin was wonderful as was lunch at El Comedor de Lupita in San Sebastian, a local authentic Mexican restaurant - the chicken mole was superb. We enjoyed popping into the local shops and walking around the town. Unfortunately, the plaza is being repaired right now, but it's still a lovely day trip, especially now in the off season since it's much cooler in the mountains and traffic is less crazy!
