We absolutely loved this trip. Normally my Sister drives but this time she wanted to see and enjoy it so we had the choice to drive or be driven. So we asked for a driver when we booked. The trip going was scenic and pretty . When we got there Our driver was Javier who looked after as so well. Being both in our 60’s he was kind and considerate of us. Asked if we wanted to go fast or slow. We chose fast lol. Be aware this is a dusty ride so you get covered. 😁 We drove to the water fall which you can have a swim in. After that we drove to stop where you can get refreshments and clean up at the washroom. The view was beautiful and you can take photos. You also see the longest suspension bridge in the world which you will be driving over. The view when driving over is beautiful. Once back you can see all your photos. Have something to eat if hungry and go tequila tasting. There is also a pool where you can swim while waiting for your transport home. My sister and I couldn’t fault the trip at all.

My girlfriend and I went on the waterfall walk and it was an amazing experience. The tour lasts approximately 7-8 hours, but is totally worth it for the scenery and adventure. Our guide, Edgar, was very attentive throughout and always took the time to explain each part of the tour, which made the experience much more interesting and safe. We definitely recommend it for those looking for a different activity, in contact with nature and well organized.

We had the best time on this excursion, even though we started late in the day because our flight didn’t come in till late afternoon, our guide, Alexis, made sure that we got to see the botanical gardens (that I really wanted to see) and also that we made the most of our one day (we were here for a wedding and our trip was really laid out for us) where we got to explore Puerto Vallarta. Doing the private tour was honestly the best because we got to pack in so much to make that time so worth it.

Best San Sebastion Tour!
Our guide Daniel was very knowledgeable, and our driver Jimmy was always ready to help us load and unload when we were ready to move on the next stop. For the price ($78 USD pp) this tour included a lot of stops and was 8 hours - well worth the price. As we wound our way up the mountains to San Sebastion, Daniel filled in with history of the local areas we drove through, flora, fauna and wildlife of the area and the evolution of Mexico and the people of the past up to today's Mexico. We stopped at a bakery for a snack and Mexican coffee, then on to a boutique family Tequila producer that included tastings and an explanation of the process. Next was a stop at a jewelry shop and Daniel informed us about the gemstones only found in this area, as well as the silver mines that supported the economy. Following that we came to San Sebastion and visited a family coffee roasting company. We visited family operated shops that were creating and selling their hand-crafted goods. Daniel also gave us a lot of stories and information about the San Sebastion as we walked the town and saw the mission. Afterward we enjoyed the (included in $78) lunch at a local family restaurant. Daniel checked with us as we moved to each visit to ensure we wanted to do that. We did run out of time and didn't get to the chocolate factory, but we were all tired and happy with the tour. The only glitch was a mix up on the pick-up spot. We were not staying in a hotel and they couldn't pick us up at the condo, so make sure to clarify your meeting spot. The messaging in Cool Puerto Vallarta is really buried, so I missed the pick-up time change and we were quite a bit early at the meeting spot. I would still rate the tour a 10 out of 10!

We had such a nice experience with Julian on our trip to Eden. His driver was also top notch and a true professional. They both took great care of us and it was worth every dollar spent. The restaurant in Eden was delicious and the steamed vegetables and bacon wrapped shrimp were my favorite. The tequila was a great way to end our day. I highly recommend this tour because it was a great way to spend the day.

Using Obi Tours for this vacation was one of the best decisions we made! The Tequila & Ancient Ruins private day trip was absolutely incredible. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day so enjoyable. We got to explore ancient ruins, learn about the rich history of the region, and even taste some amazing tequila along the way. The private tour made everything seamless and stress-free—highly recommend Obi Tours for anyone wanting an unforgettable cultural and historical experience away from Puerto Vallarta. FYI, ask about the overnight option. Tequila definitely deserves an overnight.
