This was so lovely, would definitely recommend. The taco places, especially the first one, Rosa’s, were great. Our guide Andres was so friendly and knowledgeable, we used him for airport pickup as well. He spoke on our behalf when necessary, which was helpful since our Spanish isn’t great. He even made an extra stop for us to try something new! Great experience and would definitely use them again in the future!

Be sure to enjoy the long ride into the highlands and listen to Bernardo as he gives you insights about the region and its culture. Enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine and hospitality. The hosts and owners of the distilleries will explain the process of making tequila and why the spirit can only be called tequila when it comes from this region! Gain hands on experience in the field and insight into the planting and harvesting of agave and then enjoy breakfast prepared over an open fire. A short course in tequila appreciation. And by the way, you will taste several different tequilas too. This is an experience I recommend without reservations. Go, you will be glad you did!

We took a private city tour for 6 hours. The experience was awesome. $400 USD. Best for 2 people. When booking, ask for Miguel. He spoke fluent English. He was awesome! He took us to the boardwalk, the church, chocolate factory, small shops, tequila factory, the arches and a small family restaurant in the mountains. He went out of his way to find us a small shop so we could find some bracelets.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. The tour guide/driver was great and extremely knowledgeable about the city. We learned new features about Puerto Vallarta that we did not know about. The van was clean and comfortable with much needed air conditioning on a hot day. Our tour ended with a delicious lunch and tequila tasting. I would highly recommend this activity.
