BEST TACO TOUR EVER!!!

We did the Taco Tour with Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours this morning, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Our tour guide, Heidy, was absolutely amazing. She shared so much local history and culture, making every stop even more meaningful.The tacos were the best we’ve ever had, and the surprise treats along the way made it even better—homemade popsicles, fresh churros, and, of course, some tequila! Every stop felt authentic and gave us a true taste of Puerto Vallarta.If you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta, this tour is a must-do. It’s the perfect mix of incredible food, local culture, and fun. We would absolutely do it again and can’t recommend Heidy and Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours enough!

A unique cultural experience for true foodies!

Our group of 8 had the pleasure of having Eric as our tour guide for our taco tour in Puerto Vallarta and nearby areas. Eric readily shared his extensive knowledge of Mexican food, culture and history while we enjoyed the various types of tacos, including Birria, seafood, Barbacoa and carnitas (my favorite). He has a great personality with a sense of humor and was very accommodating with our group that included some seniors that needed extra assistance. His van was comfortable and well maintained. We hope to take another Discovery tour next week and will definitely ask for Eric.

60th Birthday Excursion to Remember – Thank You Jose & Ricardo!

We had an unforgettable day trip to San Pancho and Sayulita, made even better by our fantastic guides, Jose and Ricardo! We booked this excursion as part of a 60th birthday celebration, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.From start to finish, Jose and Ricardo were friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves.Our first stop was a local tequila ranch, where we enjoyed a fun and informative tasting session—perfect way to kick off the day! We then spent a little time exploring the charming town of San Pancho, followed by a quick stop at a jewelry store that greeted us with margaritas—a lovely surprise!Finally, we arrived in Sayulita, where we had about 2.5 hours to explore, shop, and soak in the laid-back beach town vibe. It was the perfect mix of culture, relaxation, and celebration.Highly recommend this excursion if you're looking for a fun, well-paced outing with excellent guides. This is my favorite, of the braids 😻 Haha I didn't even see for the sob, but how nice! How to go every month, to the island! * Group Selfie: A couple from Guadalajara, with whom we meet (well they with us)! Haha But everything went very well * My bag 🛍️ 💚 reusable, served as a locker! * In the end we never shared our names, but we spent all day together on the island 😃 🏝️🌊🌿💚 💙😊 #minepaotraveling ****. Great town and great beach.

The town of Sayulita is a small gem 30 minutes north of Punta Mita and Bucerias. A lot of tourists but still very fun. A lot of restaurants and nice shops. The beach is also very nice with a lot of places to rent chairs and umbrellas. Also, a lot of food and cocktails available on the beach.

Fun and interesting taco experience

Professional tour guide, Adrian, introduced my husband and I to 5 wonderful locally created tacos...beef, pork and seafood. Each offering was delicious and varied from the one before. We also were treated to coconut ice cream bar and a chocolate factory. GREAT tour!

Do this tour!! One of the best days of our trip!

Highlight of our trip! Jaun was absolutely amazing. Very informative and let everyone do their own thing. The lunch and tequila tasting was wonderful. By far the best tequila I have ever had. San Pancho and Sayulita were magical. We will be going back!! highly recommended.

Nature's paradise

Brilliant trip.Beautiful beach at Ricon de Guayabitos with mountain backdrop, soft white sand. Amazing views across to Crab Island and Coral Island. About 1 hour from Punta de Mita.10 min boat trip to reach Coral Island with quick view of Crab Island. Great snorkeling at Coral Island and we could have watched the pelicans for hours.After about 90 mins it was back to Guayabitos for lunch. Pretty basic but nice - either grilled fish or grilled chicken with fries, rice and salad.45 mins to either shop or stay at the beach at Guayabitos before heading back.This trip is amazing, little piece of paradise.Top tip, if you can't see you hotel on pick up list, contact Cool Puerto Vallarta help centre chat room. They were fantastic and helped sort the booking from Secrets/Dream Punta de Mita which was basically off the grid for most trips. Worth the effort....Coral Island is relatively unknown but will never be forgotten.
