Martin was an excellent Captain and kept an eye out for dolphins so we'd get the chance to swim with them. Michael was an extraordinary guide, always making sure we got to see and do everything. The experience was totally amazing. We ended up with a private tour because of a cruise ship change I believe but I totally think whether it was just the 2 of us or 12 it would of been just as Amazing.

Highly recommend ECOTOURS Vallarta! They are so professional and welcoming and they made our day in Puerto Vallarta special. Noriela in the office helped us with scheduling, communicated very well, and did a wonderful job to accommodate us. Without her, we wouldn’t be able to make it to the tour.Micheal, our guide, and Martin, the captain were both knowledgeable and friendly. We had an educational session to learn about the marine animals, then sailed out to see several dolphins, and lastly had a snorkeling tour in one of the snorkeling spot. We didn’t swim with dolphins because the dolphins were speeding around and weren’t in the behavior where we can swim around them. The snorkeling spot was safe, had a lot of fishes, although the visibility today was limited.The dive shop was clean and organized. We’d recommend them as they are absolutely professional in this area:)

I read all the reviews first and they had the best ones, and all the reviews were right. Definitely come on their boat the Mona Lisa with them!

If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, booking this tour with Alex is an absolute MUST! From start to finish, the entire day was pure perfection. Alex is a wonderful guide—warm, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great company to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you meet. The itinerary itself is balanced so well: you get a fun hike through beautiful scenery, plenty of time to relax and swim, and fantastic spots for snorkeling (Playa Majahuitas and Quimixto are just breathtaking!). Alex knows all the best local details, facts, and hidden spots, which makes the whole experience feel personal and unique rather than just another commercial tour. I enjoyed this tour immensely. We met at the Mismaloya Xtreme office in Puerto Vallarta, which was very close to and convenient for us staying in the Zona Romantica. A shuttle driver drove us to Mismaloya, where we went on a boat and snorkelled around the beautiful small, boulder islands. It was so magical snorkelling through the tunnels and around the islands. The guides gave us some information about the unique bird species living on the islands. The number of brightly colouredfish was astounding. Later, they brought us to a small beach where we had another chance to snorkel. I declined to do the cliff jumping at the beginning, but most of our group did it and enjoyed it. The guides were professional friendly, and knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to book this tour for a fun day on the water with magnificent snorkelling.

Chema and Arel were fantastic! It was great to get out of the city and experience the water, local town feel, and views of the area. Snorkeling in Los Arcos we saw eels, schools of fish, and coral. The town of Yalapa was wonderful. Fantastic homemade food and friendly local people. I would recommend this to anyone looking to experience more than just the big city tourism of Puerto Vallarta. They provided snorkeling gear, a cooler, and some great stories about life in PV! Being on the boat just the four of us on the water made our trip. Best empanadas the whole visit.

Our guide Dani and our boat captain Ricardo were the best. We were supposed to be a group of 5, but the other 3 people never showed up so my wife and I basically had a private tour. Dani and Ricardo were very friendly and they did an awesome job of taking care of us at every part of the trip. It was the highlight of our stay thanks to them and we would absolutely do it again. Next time we’re bringing our whole family and asking for Dani and Ricardo.

We loved our private adventure with Oceanus to Tres Marietas. Eduardo was our primary contact. He agreed to pick us (husband, wife, 10 year old son) up from our local hotel and drive us to the pier. Upon arrival, Eduardo gave my son and I a 30 minute surfing lesson and included boogie boards as well on the gentle waves next to the pier. Then, he introduced use to Tomas, our personal guide, and our boat captain. We were taken on a 25-30 foot boat out to Hidden Beach first. I thought we would be part of a small group, but it ended up being a private tour! Tomas secured our phone/camera in a waterproof container and led us under the tunnel to Hidden Beach! We spent 30 minutes or so in the beach area and Tomas took wonderful photographs of our family from several angles that he knew would be great. He answered all of my son's questions patiently. We swam back and toured the islands from the boat, seeing other landmarks and observing lots of wildlife. Then, we snorkeled at Skull Rock with many colorful fish and visited another beach on a neighboring island. All in all, it was about 3 hours on the adventure. Upon our return, Eduardo had prepared a delicious shrimp ceviche for my wife and I and had purchased a special quesadilla for my picky eating son, which we ate on a beach adjacent to the pier. Eduardo offered additional surfing time before safely driving us back to our resort. I thought it was an excellent value and a lot of fun for $700USD, inclusive of gratuity. I think it would be a great trip for families of up to 8-10 people or couples wanting a romantic adventure together. I highly recommend Oceanus, Eduardo, and Tomas in Punta Mita.
