The butterfly sanctuary was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, Natalia at the front desk was very nice and helpful; all the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant area by the river is absolutely beautiful; you could easily spend hours there and still not want to leave. Alejandra, the biologist in charge, was our guide. Her explanation about butterflies, conservation, and do's and don'ts when interacting with them was engaging, informative, and perfect for visitors of all ages. The experience was very interactive, and you could immediately tell how passionate she is about her work and how knowledgeable she is.All of my friends had an amazing time, and two of them even got to release their own butterflies!We will definitely come back and recommend this place to all our friends and family. Honestly, it was the highlight of our trip!

Incredible experience, Perla was an excellent guide, the food and the red sky I ordered were delicious, we loved Abel's energy, and the restaurant staff were also very kind.

Great experience, I have done many tours, and do give an excellent rating to this group (Perla, Abel, Juan and Mario). It was amazing!! Mismaloya it's a real gem!!! Just what you see on postcards and you tell your self, wow. I wish I was there. (It's affordable and you need to give these guys a chance to show you around the Beautiful and safe city of Puerto Vallarta.

Very nice place and has a restaurant by a river, it is great to enjoy your food together to nature and at the same time learn to take care of it

Google maps said that this place is closed on Monday, but actually is open. Very unique experience. Biologist is very knowledgable about butterfly and give us introduction of the lifecycle butterfly and also show us in a butterfly garden how to catch a butterfly by hand.

What a nice place, and super understanding staff. It was an experience that we didn’t expect so much from but to have learned so much from butterflies and to be able to carry them was a very magical thing. After the tour and get to know several of its spirits called Toritos, you can also go down to enjoy the rich stream, we also saw fish and several birds in the area. If you want photos with butterflies, take a camera, cell phones are not allowed.

What am amazing day. Stared with a jewelry visit. Then off to tequila tasting, followed my the butterfly garden. Got to release some new butterflies into the sanctuary. A great lunch and free time at Mismaloya beach. Would never known about this amazing tour if not for a new friend telling us about it. If you have the chance, do it!!
