The entire experience was so worth the cost. Boat ride from the port to the island was enjoyable. The show was phenominal. Dinner was a buffet with ample selections. Return boat ride back to port was enjoyable. If we would return with different friends, this is on the list.

Incredible, beautiful views, good trail, it needs to go faster to take advantage of the RZR. You have to bring money since it is surely $400, and the souvenirs in the places are good.

Our tour guide Axle did a superb job. He stopped at view points for us to take pictures and a great little place for lunch that we would have never found on our own. The food was so flavorful! He kept us safe and we saw so much more of PV than we see down near the beach. Just beautiful and I highly recommend this tour! Thank you.

Michael was an amazing educated guide who helped us to find rare and remarkable birds, including the Mexican hermit hummingbird. He was a trained knowledgeable about birds, Whales dolphins, and is a native of the area. This is not the exact tour we went on, but it’s the closest I could find.

The agency that runs the tour is EXCELLENT, very attentive, the service is very, very good, the food is very delicious, the activities are super good for my children.The only and very bad experience was with Cool Puerto Vallarta as an intermediary, they did not give the correct instructions since the tour says it is for ages 6 to 90 and when we arrived they said that only children 11 years and older can enter the Marietas Islands, they also did not tell me that you have to pay 1,000 more per person to enter the hidden beach.

Michael was AMAZING - he has such incredible knowledge of the birds and trees in the area and we had such a fabulous time spotting nearly 50 types of birds! We're fairly new to birding and this was such a special experience that has fueled us wanting to do birding more frequently. We also really appreciate that this company is truly eco friendly and ensures that nature and wildlife are protected on the types tpurs.Highly recommend this tour and EcoTours!

Affordable, friendly & fun tour with memorable experiences
If you want to swim or snorkel in deep, blue crystal waters off of Marietas Islands and enjoy the magic of Majahuitas beach club with lunch in the same day, then book this tour. The price is affordable for an all day excursion (8am to 3:30pm). The tour guide, Felipe, and crew - Kevin, Francesco, Alex, and Fernando - were friendly, extremely attentive and knowledgeable, and fun. Our tour was in English and Spanish. The swimming at Marietas was great! Between the swimming/snorkeling at Marietas and lunch/beach time, they provided refreshments, including an open bar. The staff at Majahuitas also made a delicious lunch with cold drinks. On the boat ride back, Felipe and his crew surprised us with a show-lots of singing and dancing. There were lots of cold drinks and music on our return trip to the port. Overall, this was a fantastic way to experience Puerto Vallarta!

Our day with Obi Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our week in Puerto Vallarta!We booked the private Sayulita and San Pancho tour for our group of six, and from the moment Obi and Elizabeth picked us up in their clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van, we knew we were in good hands.Throughout the day, they shared so much knowledge about Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the places we visited. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and they made every stop interesting and enjoyable.One of our favorite surprises was a stop at a roadside fruit stand where they had arranged a tasting of several local fruits. It was such a fun experience that we never would have found on our own.The tequila tasting was another unforgettable part of the day. It was entertaining, informative, and honestly featured the best tequila we’ve ever had! We learned so much and had a great time.In Sayulita, they took us to a wonderful beachfront restaurant before giving us free time to explore the town at our own pace. We also loved visiting beautiful San Pancho.One of the most thoughtful touches was that Elizabeth took photos throughout the entire tour—both candid and posed—and shared them with us afterward at no extra charge. It allowed us to simply enjoy the day while knowing the memories were being captured.What really sets Obi Tours apart is that this didn’t feel like a typical tour. It felt like spending the day with two wonderful people who genuinely love sharing their home and culture with their guests.If we’re fortunate enough to visit Puerto Vallarta again, we’ll absolutely be booking another tour with Obi and Elizabeth. They offer several different experiences, and we can’t wait to see more of the area with them.Thank you both for making our vacation so memorable. How delightful to be picked up at our hotel on time by Jose (Pepe), a true PV native, who drove us up the mountain to San Sebastian and gave us plenty of history and tips along the way. This is butterfly season - we drove through swarms of butterflies on the way into the Sierra Madre. The tequila/raicilla tasting at Don Lalin was wonderful as was lunch at El Comedor de Lupita in San Sebastian, a local authentic Mexican restaurant - the chicken mole was superb. We enjoyed popping into the local shops and walking around the town. Unfortunately, the plaza is being repaired right now, but it's still a lovely day trip, especially now in the off season since it's much cooler in the mountains and traffic is less crazy!
