I read all the reviews first and they had the best ones, and all the reviews were right. Definitely come on their boat the Mona Lisa with them!

Our guide Cervando was amazing. He gave us a great overview of quite a few colonias (neighborhoods) in Puerto Vallarta including Marina Vallarta, 5 de Diciembre, Centro and Zona Romantica. He also gave us a tour of a local market in 5 de Diciembre near where he grew up...including fresh tortillas and salsa. He is very knowledgeable about the city as he is native resident. He is a very safe driver and gives you the option to tailor your tour to your liking, if there are specific sites and areas you would like to see. He also gave us suggestions for various street vendors and restaurants to try while we are here.

This was my husband's and my 2nd cruise!! First the night-time cruise and then a private cruise for one of our best friend's 60th Birthday!!What A Blast We Had!! After we were on-board thia Beautiful Yacht, we were introduced to the staff, explained where everything was, and offered our first cocktail and snacks before we ever got out of the Marina.We were shown sea turtles that were frolicking above the water for a few minutes. We snorkeled in this Beautiful Inlet and also relaxed on their huge Lily Pad float. We ate lunch while we relaxed on a Beautiful Sunny Day!!They took us over to the Los Arcos Rocks and watched the numerous species of birds flying on and off these huge rocks. The Captain even positioned the boat so that we could look through the cave of the rock through to the other side. You can see these rocks while driving along Highway 200 but it is nothing compared to being up close and personal.The 3 person crew were Great!! We never had a chance to want for anything before they were bringing it to us or answering an endless list of questions about the Bay and many of the Sea Creatures which inhabit it full-time to others (Whales particularly) that only come for the Winter Season so that the females can have their Babies in the safety of the Bay and fatten them up for their return trip to Alaska.All-in-all, I would highly recommend this Cruise, the Sunset Cruise, or any others that they offer!! Already considering the Whale Watching Cruise next!!

Our day with Obi Tours was one of the absolute highlights of our week in Puerto Vallarta!We booked the private Sayulita and San Pancho tour for our group of six, and from the moment Obi and Elizabeth picked us up in their clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van, we knew we were in good hands.Throughout the day, they shared so much knowledge about Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and the places we visited. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and they made every stop interesting and enjoyable.One of our favorite surprises was a stop at a roadside fruit stand where they had arranged a tasting of several local fruits. It was such a fun experience that we never would have found on our own.The tequila tasting was another unforgettable part of the day. It was entertaining, informative, and honestly featured the best tequila we’ve ever had! We learned so much and had a great time.In Sayulita, they took us to a wonderful beachfront restaurant before giving us free time to explore the town at our own pace. We also loved visiting beautiful San Pancho.One of the most thoughtful touches was that Elizabeth took photos throughout the entire tour—both candid and posed—and shared them with us afterward at no extra charge. It allowed us to simply enjoy the day while knowing the memories were being captured.What really sets Obi Tours apart is that this didn’t feel like a typical tour. It felt like spending the day with two wonderful people who genuinely love sharing their home and culture with their guests.If we’re fortunate enough to visit Puerto Vallarta again, we’ll absolutely be booking another tour with Obi and Elizabeth. They offer several different experiences, and we can’t wait to see more of the area with them.Thank you both for making our vacation so memorable. Chema and Arel were fantastic! It was great to get out of the city and experience the water, local town feel, and views of the area. Snorkeling in Los Arcos we saw eels, schools of fish, and coral. The town of Yalapa was wonderful. Fantastic homemade food and friendly local people. I would recommend this to anyone looking to experience more than just the big city tourism of Puerto Vallarta. They provided snorkeling gear, a cooler, and some great stories about life in PV! Being on the boat just the four of us on the water made our trip. Best empanadas the whole visit.

Our experience with the tour was exceptional, largely due to our outstanding driver and guide, Cervando. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, and knows Puerto Vallarta like the palm of his hand. What made the tour particularly valuable was the opportunity to experience both the modern, popular tourist areas and the less-touristy, more authentic parts of Puerto Vallarta. The contrast between these areas provided a unique perspective and made the tour much more interesting and memorable. Cervando was accommodating, attentive, considerate, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire experience. His professionalism and local knowledge greatly enhanced the tour.

We loved our private adventure with Oceanus to Tres Marietas. Eduardo was our primary contact. He agreed to pick us (husband, wife, 10 year old son) up from our local hotel and drive us to the pier. Upon arrival, Eduardo gave my son and I a 30 minute surfing lesson and included boogie boards as well on the gentle waves next to the pier. Then, he introduced use to Tomas, our personal guide, and our boat captain. We were taken on a 25-30 foot boat out to Hidden Beach first. I thought we would be part of a small group, but it ended up being a private tour! Tomas secured our phone/camera in a waterproof container and led us under the tunnel to Hidden Beach! We spent 30 minutes or so in the beach area and Tomas took wonderful photographs of our family from several angles that he knew would be great. He answered all of my son's questions patiently. We swam back and toured the islands from the boat, seeing other landmarks and observing lots of wildlife. Then, we snorkeled at Skull Rock with many colorful fish and visited another beach on a neighboring island. All in all, it was about 3 hours on the adventure. Upon our return, Eduardo had prepared a delicious shrimp ceviche for my wife and I and had purchased a special quesadilla for my picky eating son, which we ate on a beach adjacent to the pier. Eduardo offered additional surfing time before safely driving us back to our resort. I thought it was an excellent value and a lot of fun for $700USD, inclusive of gratuity. I think it would be a great trip for families of up to 8-10 people or couples wanting a romantic adventure together. I highly recommend Oceanus, Eduardo, and Tomas in Punta Mita.

How delightful to be picked up at our hotel on time by Jose (Pepe), a true PV native, who drove us up the mountain to San Sebastian and gave us plenty of history and tips along the way. This is butterfly season - we drove through swarms of butterflies on the way into the Sierra Madre. The tequila/raicilla tasting at Don Lalin was wonderful as was lunch at El Comedor de Lupita in San Sebastian, a local authentic Mexican restaurant - the chicken mole was superb. We enjoyed popping into the local shops and walking around the town. Unfortunately, the plaza is being repaired right now, but it's still a lovely day trip, especially now in the off season since it's much cooler in the mountains and traffic is less crazy!
