This was so lovely, would definitely recommend. The taco places, especially the first one, Rosa’s, were great. Our guide Andres was so friendly and knowledgeable, we used him for airport pickup as well. He spoke on our behalf when necessary, which was helpful since our Spanish isn’t great. He even made an extra stop for us to try something new! Great experience and would definitely use them again in the future!

We did the Taco Tour with Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours this morning, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Our tour guide, Heidy, was absolutely amazing. She shared so much local history and culture, making every stop even more meaningful.The tacos were the best we’ve ever had, and the surprise treats along the way made it even better—homemade popsicles, fresh churros, and, of course, some tequila! Every stop felt authentic and gave us a true taste of Puerto Vallarta.If you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta, this tour is a must-do. It’s the perfect mix of incredible food, local culture, and fun. We would absolutely do it again and can’t recommend Heidy and Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours enough!

Our group of 8 had the pleasure of having Eric as our tour guide for our taco tour in Puerto Vallarta and nearby areas. Eric readily shared his extensive knowledge of Mexican food, culture and history while we enjoyed the various types of tacos, including Birria, seafood, Barbacoa and carnitas (my favorite). He has a great personality with a sense of humor and was very accommodating with our group that included some seniors that needed extra assistance. His van was comfortable and well maintained. We hope to take another Discovery tour next week and will definitely ask for Eric.

It was wonderful to be in a private boat with Luis, our excellent driver/guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and knew just where to find the whales and dolphins. The Amelia Ii had a cover and we were grateful not to be under the hot sun for 3 hours.

My husband and I had an amazing authentic cooking experience at La casa de Abuela with Pepe and Rosa! They’re both so friendly and easy to be around. We are whole food plant based (vegan), and they catered the meal completely to accommodate us. The food was TO DIE FOR. Literally, of all the places we ate during our 10 day stay, this was hands down THE BEST! We loved learning how to cook all of it and especially loved eating it ☺️ 10 out of 10 experience, highly recommend if you like authentic, unique moments while traveling! This is for you.

Started off with a few snags. Boat issues, caused them to start about 20 minutes late, but they called several times to keep us informed of their progress. Boy, did they make up for it when we were on the water!!!Started off in a dolphin pod, then we started seeing spouts. Spent several hours chasing down and watching the whales. They made it a fantastic experience for me, my wife, kids and their spouses, granddaughters (4 & 5) and friends. Total of 13 in our group. Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide didn’t speak a word of English. Luckily my kids knew some! The boat was fine. We were taken to a beautiful location to snorkle but there weren’t many fish to see. After that, we headed to a gorgeous beach area set within cliffs that made the whole excursion worthwhile. So memorable!
