This was so lovely, would definitely recommend. The taco places, especially the first one, Rosa’s, were great. Our guide Andres was so friendly and knowledgeable, we used him for airport pickup as well. He spoke on our behalf when necessary, which was helpful since our Spanish isn’t great. He even made an extra stop for us to try something new! Great experience and would definitely use them again in the future!

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the terrain, shared interesting information throughout the ride. Her expertise and friendly attitude truly enhanced the experience. We absolutely loved this trip. Normally my Sister drives but this time she wanted to see and enjoy it so we had the choice to drive or be driven. So we asked for a driver when we booked. The trip going was scenic and pretty . When we got there Our driver was Javier who looked after as so well. Being both in our 60’s he was kind and considerate of us. Asked if we wanted to go fast or slow. We chose fast lol. Be aware this is a dusty ride so you get covered. 😁 We drove to the water fall which you can have a swim in. After that we drove to stop where you can get refreshments and clean up at the washroom. The view was beautiful and you can take photos. You also see the longest suspension bridge in the world which you will be driving over. The view when driving over is beautiful. Once back you can see all your photos. Have something to eat if hungry and go tequila tasting. There is also a pool where you can swim while waiting for your transport home. My sister and I couldn’t fault the trip at all.

We did the Taco Tour with Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours this morning, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Our tour guide, Heidy, was absolutely amazing. She shared so much local history and culture, making every stop even more meaningful.The tacos were the best we’ve ever had, and the surprise treats along the way made it even better—homemade popsicles, fresh churros, and, of course, some tequila! Every stop felt authentic and gave us a true taste of Puerto Vallarta.If you’re visiting Puerto Vallarta, this tour is a must-do. It’s the perfect mix of incredible food, local culture, and fun. We would absolutely do it again and can’t recommend Heidy and Puerto Vallarta Discovery Tours enough!

Our group of 8 had the pleasure of having Eric as our tour guide for our taco tour in Puerto Vallarta and nearby areas. Eric readily shared his extensive knowledge of Mexican food, culture and history while we enjoyed the various types of tacos, including Birria, seafood, Barbacoa and carnitas (my favorite). He has a great personality with a sense of humor and was very accommodating with our group that included some seniors that needed extra assistance. His van was comfortable and well maintained. We hope to take another Discovery tour next week and will definitely ask for Eric.

Excellent walk!!!!
My girlfriend and I went on the waterfall walk and it was an amazing experience. The tour lasts approximately 7-8 hours, but is totally worth it for the scenery and adventure. Our guide, Edgar, was very attentive throughout and always took the time to explain each part of the tour, which made the experience much more interesting and safe. We definitely recommend it for those looking for a different activity, in contact with nature and well organized.

We had the best time on this excursion, even though we started late in the day because our flight didn’t come in till late afternoon, our guide, Alexis, made sure that we got to see the botanical gardens (that I really wanted to see) and also that we made the most of our one day (we were here for a wedding and our trip was really laid out for us) where we got to explore Puerto Vallarta. Doing the private tour was honestly the best because we got to pack in so much to make that time so worth it.

Excellent ziplining experience! the 19 ziplines offer a variety of levels and all have extremely scenic views! There is some safe uphill hiking with natural rock & dirt trail stairs with railings. The guides are fantastic and the equipment is safe. You can go upside down on many of the lines, but they want to send a guide with you when you do. We would gladly do this again! They do try to sell you photos & videos at the end.

Using Obi Tours for this vacation was one of the best decisions we made! The Tequila & Ancient Ruins private day trip was absolutely incredible. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day so enjoyable. We got to explore ancient ruins, learn about the rich history of the region, and even taste some amazing tequila along the way. The private tour made everything seamless and stress-free—highly recommend Obi Tours for anyone wanting an unforgettable cultural and historical experience away from Puerto Vallarta.
