Our guide Cervando was amazing. He gave us a great overview of quite a few colonias (neighborhoods) in Puerto Vallarta including Marina Vallarta, 5 de Diciembre, Centro and Zona Romantica. He also gave us a tour of a local market in 5 de Diciembre near where he grew up...including fresh tortillas and salsa. He is very knowledgeable about the city as he is native resident. He is a very safe driver and gives you the option to tailor your tour to your liking, if there are specific sites and areas you would like to see. He also gave us suggestions for various street vendors and restaurants to try while we are here.

We had such a great experience with Alejandro, while visiting Nayarit! We actually ended up using his services twice during our trip, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed having him as our guide.He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. He knew so much about the area and took us to places we probably never would have discovered on our own, which made our trip feel even more special.You can tell he genuinely cares about giving his guests a great experience, and we really appreciated how easy and enjoyable he made both of our days with him.If you’re visiting Nayarit or Puerto Vallarta and looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and professional, I would highly recommend him. Our experience with the tour was exceptional, largely due to our outstanding driver and guide, Cervando. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, and knows Puerto Vallarta like the palm of his hand. What made the tour particularly valuable was the opportunity to experience both the modern, popular tourist areas and the less-touristy, more authentic parts of Puerto Vallarta. The contrast between these areas provided a unique perspective and made the tour much more interesting and memorable. Cervando was accommodating, attentive, considerate, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire experience. His professionalism and local knowledge greatly enhanced the tour.

Our tour of Sayulita with Moises was a wonderful way to spend the day and a highlight for my partner and I on our trip!Our tour guide, Moises, was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and knew the best local spots as well as the history of Sayulita and Mexico. He was so easy to be around and we had so much fun exploring the town with him. We ate good food, authentic tacos, great coffee and artisan chocolate- each with a wonderful story behind the food and the people. We visited the Hippy market and got a good lesson in the culture behind the crafts. We also received great recommendations from Moises on further ways to explore the city- hiking and beach recommendations, as well ans best margaritas in town etc. We can’t recommend this tour enough! Come hungry, be prepared to walk a few miles but nothing difficult, and enjoy the open dialogue and heart that Moises brings to the tour!

Booked the tour online and received prompt confirmation of the tour and agreed upon pickup location. Our tour guide Alejandro was on time and we set off after introductions. He told us that he would break the drive to San Sebastián del Oeste up with some stops in between. Our first stop was in Las Palmas where we were able to walk around and experience the town on a Sunday morning. It was a good stop and seeing the town was very nice. Our next stop was at a bakery where we got drinks and baked goods. This also provided a great viewing location of the bridge and the mountains. The baked good were awesome and I highly recommend the empanada filled with beef and cheese.Our next stop was at a distillery where we learned how agave is made into liquor. The owner (also named Alejandro) was excellent and fun. We sampled several of their products. We spent time in San Sebastián exploring the town, shops, and restaurants. All were wonderful and a lot of fun.We returned to Puerto Vallarta where all three of us on the tour commented about how much we enjoyed it. Alejandro is delightful to talk to and has a wealth of knowledge about local customs, plants, foods, etc. He was well prepared with an ice chest of cold beverages, bug spray, and everything we needed.I would definitely book another tour with Luna Tours and Alejandro!

Five Stars for Alejandro and Luna Tours PV!Our day trip to San Sebastian del Oeste was spectacular, all thanks to our amazing guide, Alejandro! From the start, his warm hospitality and attentiveness kept us comfortable and refreshed with cold drinks.He built the perfect itinerary. We loved stopping for incredible cinnamon rolls and mushroom cheese sandwiches at the bridge panadería, followed by a fantastic visit to the local distillery. San Sebastian is a charming town, but Alejandro’s passionate storytelling and deep knowledge of its history made the trip truly unforgettable. We highly recommend booking with him!

If you’re in or passing through Puerto Vallarta and even remotely considering a photo session, just do it. You will not regret it!As our crew has grown, it’s harder to have everyone all in the same place at the same time. Since we had all flown in from different parts of the country to take a cruise together, I figured this was our chance to get photos - and what better backdrops than the beautiful beaches and city center?!Star helped me coordinate our session for the morning our ship was in port. What I did NOT plan for was a time zone mix-up! We were scheduled to be in port at 7 am - but didn’t know that was ship time - Puerto Vallarta was an hour ahead! By the time we got on land and had cell service, we were already an hour late to our session.Star was incredible about it! She communicated right away, helped us pivot immediately, and we headed to the beach to make the most of the time we had left. No stress, no attitude - just someone who clearly loves what she does and wanted us to walk away happy. When we finally arrived, she wasn’t frantic or upset - she helped us all get comfortable and didn’t let the stressful start ruin the fun.And somehow, even with the time mix up, she got EVERYTHING. The full group, just the kids, the couples, parents with each of the children - all of the combinations I had hoped for. She has a natural way of making people feel comfortable right from the start, which matters so much when you’re wrangling a big group.The photos are stunning! Anyone who has taken group photos knows the struggle - someone is always blinking or looking away lol But Star captured so many great shots - genuinely love every single one!Star communicated beautifully before, during, and after the whole process. I only wish we lived closer, because we will absolutely book her again the next time we’re in Puerto Vallarta.JUST DO IT! If you’re on a debating whether to splurge on a professional session while in Puerto Vallarta - do it! You have everyone together, you’re in a beautiful place, and of course the candids from the trip are great, but having photos of your entire crew is truly priceless. Thanks again, Star!!
