Our guide Cervando was amazing. He gave us a great overview of quite a few colonias (neighborhoods) in Puerto Vallarta including Marina Vallarta, 5 de Diciembre, Centro and Zona Romantica. He also gave us a tour of a local market in 5 de Diciembre near where he grew up...including fresh tortillas and salsa. He is very knowledgeable about the city as he is native resident. He is a very safe driver and gives you the option to tailor your tour to your liking, if there are specific sites and areas you would like to see. He also gave us suggestions for various street vendors and restaurants to try while we are here.

Included very nice hike(optional), moderate difficulty for average person. Trails were slippery but very clearly marked. Garden was extremely beautiful. Guide was amazing, photographer very good. Tequila was very good, a little pricerier than expected for the optional purchase. Lunch was delicious but if not choosing the lunch included menu be aware you will be forced to get food at the same restaurant(pretty pricy as well compared to other restaurants in town) due to remote location.

If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, booking this tour with Alex is an absolute MUST! From start to finish, the entire day was pure perfection. Alex is a wonderful guide—warm, super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and simply great company to be around. He makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable right from the moment you meet. The itinerary itself is balanced so well: you get a fun hike through beautiful scenery, plenty of time to relax and swim, and fantastic spots for snorkeling (Playa Majahuitas and Quimixto are just breathtaking!). Alex knows all the best local details, facts, and hidden spots, which makes the whole experience feel personal and unique rather than just another commercial tour. The minute I found out that I could swim with dolphins in the wild in Puerto Vallarta - I knew I had to make it happen🐬 They had originally signed us up with swimming with the dolphins and sea lions in a tank. When I found out, it was in a tank I made sure to let them know that I am very against that and that we only want to swim with them in the wild. We got lucky and had a private tour. They told us if more people didn’t sign up they may cancel it. I’m so glad they didn’t! Our guide Michael and Captain Martin were amazing! The day started off a little slow, but we never lost hope! Sure enough just a few minutes later, they found us a couple of dolphins that were calm and swimming slow, so we were able to get in and swim with them! It was the most beautiful experience seeing them so close and in their natural habitat. We got more time with the dolphins than I ever could’ve dreamed of. So when he told us, it was time to give them some space I was super fulfilled and more than happy to see them from the boat. We both thought that the tour might have just ended there, but they fed us some sandwiches and took us snorkeling at this beautiful secluded beach. Michael was able to tell us about all the species of fish and the marine birds. And on the way back - even more dolphins!!!😍 This excursion couldn’t have gone any better. I can’t wait to come back!🩵🐬

What am absolutely INCREDIBLE experience! We got to see a momma turtle lay eggs and rescue the eggs - so beautiful to witness and feels great knowing we could help! Eddie was SUCH a great person and taught us so much. He's a friend for life now.I can't recommend this experience more! And if you decide to do the baby turtle release instead/ in addition, make sure to book it with the turtle camp directly (not another tour company) as that's how the organizing raises funds to do this vital rescue work!

Like someone else said— don’t let the late night booking scare you. You will be well taken care of and feel safe, especially with Eduardo. We didn’t see the turtles at first, but then we found a nest and participated in the capture, identification, and incubation of olive Ridley sea turtle eggs. In addition, we got to see crocodiles at a safe distance from the mangrove. This was one of the best experiences I had visiting this area. It is so clear that the organization really cares about these turtles. Do it and you won’t regret

Our guide Dani and our boat captain Ricardo were the best. We were supposed to be a group of 5, but the other 3 people never showed up so my wife and I basically had a private tour. Dani and Ricardo were very friendly and they did an awesome job of taking care of us at every part of the trip. It was the highlight of our stay thanks to them and we would absolutely do it again. Next time we’re bringing our whole family and asking for Dani and Ricardo.

Our experience with the tour was exceptional, largely due to our outstanding driver and guide, Cervando. He is highly professional, knowledgeable, and knows Puerto Vallarta like the palm of his hand. What made the tour particularly valuable was the opportunity to experience both the modern, popular tourist areas and the less-touristy, more authentic parts of Puerto Vallarta. The contrast between these areas provided a unique perspective and made the tour much more interesting and memorable. Cervando was accommodating, attentive, considerate, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire experience. His professionalism and local knowledge greatly enhanced the tour.

How delightful to be picked up at our hotel on time by Jose (Pepe), a true PV native, who drove us up the mountain to San Sebastian and gave us plenty of history and tips along the way. This is butterfly season - we drove through swarms of butterflies on the way into the Sierra Madre. The tequila/raicilla tasting at Don Lalin was wonderful as was lunch at El Comedor de Lupita in San Sebastian, a local authentic Mexican restaurant - the chicken mole was superb. We enjoyed popping into the local shops and walking around the town. Unfortunately, the plaza is being repaired right now, but it's still a lovely day trip, especially now in the off season since it's much cooler in the mountains and traffic is less crazy!

This was one of the best tours we have done in PV. We go often and try to find a new area to explore. We had not been to the smaller beaches and decided to choose this tour. We are so glad that we did! Diego did a fantastic job and was informative about the area, jungle life and provided pointers on how to come back to the beaches. The snorkeling was some of the best if not the best I have done in PV and we have been to many beaches in the area. I would definitely do this tour again! Please note read the full description of what this tour is about. We had some people in our group complain about the hike because they were not prepared. It is not difficult but there are a couple of short spots that have a moderate climb. Thank you Diego for a great tour!
