Puerto Vallarta Historic Center (Centro Histórico) Tours

If you’re in or passing through Puerto Vallarta and even remotely considering a photo session, just do it. You will not regret it!As our crew has grown, it’s harder to have everyone all in the same place at the same time. Since we had all flown in from different parts of the country to take a cruise together, I figured this was our chance to get photos - and what better backdrops than the beautiful beaches and city center?!Star helped me coordinate our session for the morning our ship was in port. What I did NOT plan for was a time zone mix-up! We were scheduled to be in port at 7 am - but didn’t know that was ship time - Puerto Vallarta was an hour ahead! By the time we got on land and had cell service, we were already an hour late to our session.Star was incredible about it! She communicated right away, helped us pivot immediately, and we headed to the beach to make the most of the time we had left. No stress, no attitude - just someone who clearly loves what she does and wanted us to walk away happy. When we finally arrived, she wasn’t frantic or upset - she helped us all get comfortable and didn’t let the stressful start ruin the fun.And somehow, even with the time mix up, she got EVERYTHING. The full group, just the kids, the couples, parents with each of the children - all of the combinations I had hoped for. She has a natural way of making people feel comfortable right from the start, which matters so much when you’re wrangling a big group.The photos are stunning! Anyone who has taken group photos knows the struggle - someone is always blinking or looking away lol But Star captured so many great shots - genuinely love every single one!Star communicated beautifully before, during, and after the whole process. I only wish we lived closer, because we will absolutely book her again the next time we’re in Puerto Vallarta.JUST DO IT! If you’re on a debating whether to splurge on a professional session while in Puerto Vallarta - do it! You have everyone together, you’re in a beautiful place, and of course the candids from the trip are great, but having photos of your entire crew is truly priceless. Thanks again, Star!!

The whole experience was fantastic!!! Our photographer Star was very nice and gave very simple instructions for us to follow. My wife and I were a little nervous at first but Star really put us at ease. She even took us to a secluded beach with fantastic views. We will make sure to use them again!!!

We had a wonderful time with Enrique (who happens to be the owner)! We stopped at 4 taco spots and had a wonderful tour of the city!My family and I have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta for 28 years. We have our favorite spots and usually kept to what we knew. Going on this tour opened our eyes so much! We visited parts of town that we'd never been to before. It was wonderful.Along the tour Enrique told us about a lot of his favorite spots to eat (not just tacos), by the time we were done with the tour I had a list of 20 new places to try!! So fun!It was wonderful to have a guide who knew where to go, plus we had some great tacos! We were in a very comfortable van with AC and didn't have to do too much walking (which was needed for a couple people in our group).I would highly recommend this tour!

…that’s what my family said! We came hungry, and what a delicious time we had! Our guide Enrique was so friendly & patient with us; he felt like part of the fam!Tour was informative …& not just about tacos… but about other foods, Mexican culture and the city of PV too. It’s a fun city tour with tacos & alcohol versus just facts and stories where I’m sure my family would have gotten bored!As a chef himself, the spots Enrique took us too were delish, and he also recommended several other restaurants for us to try on our own. Though it’s easy to walk around the city center, our concern of being so hot prompted us to specifically choose this tour with transportation…so glad we did! :)

Star was fantastic! Our family was staying in the Marina District. She came to us and we had the photos taken on the beach before sunset. They are beautiful and we got them within 10 days. I’ll cherish these forever.

Vicho, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even made accommodations for the vegetarian in the group. The tacos were excellent and we stopped into a beautiful church as well.

We loved this Taco tour from the moment we met Enrique until the end. He gave such great information about Puerto Vallarta, showed us such interesting towns and their history. He was fun, friendly and a great host. And the tacos - All were delicious in interesting local restaurants in different parts of town. First time I did a tour like this driving in their vehicle and it made it so much easier for us as 2 of us have difficulty walking at the moment. Can’t wait to do more of your tours in San Jose next year! Thank you Enrique for going above and beyond.

We loved our engagement photoshoot with Star! As someone who doesn’t really like taking photos, Star made us feel immediately at ease and comfortable. Each location was stunning!!

We had an incredible time. As performers, we do not have many casual, fun photos. Even thought it was warm, we had so much fun.

Star helped plan a beautiful surprise engagement shoot for myself and my girlfriend (Now Fiancée!). It was a fun day of getting to know each other and taking photos around the city. The final spot was on a local beach and Star just found the most perfect place to do the proposal at. I'm incredibly grateful to have chosen her for my big day and had a wonderful experience!

Amazing experience. Star is SO NICE and well like in the community, everyone was very friendly, even if we took photos in front of their shop. Her secret little beach spot is unrivaled! She even recommended a restaurant that ended up being the highlight of our meals in PVR, Casamar 1928.HIGHLY recommend Star for your photos!
