I had a wonderful time. The beach was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and super attentive, snorkeling and padding boarding were so much fun. I will definitely take this tour again. Food was ok but we had plenty of cold drinks to make up for it.

We had such a great experience with Alejandro, while visiting Nayarit! We actually ended up using his services twice during our trip, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed having him as our guide.He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. He knew so much about the area and took us to places we probably never would have discovered on our own, which made our trip feel even more special.You can tell he genuinely cares about giving his guests a great experience, and we really appreciated how easy and enjoyable he made both of our days with him.If you’re visiting Nayarit or Puerto Vallarta and looking for someone reliable, knowledgeable, and professional, I would highly recommend him. I can’t say enough positive things about Curiel. He’s the owner of this business and currently is the only guide. We did the Mismaloya Waterfall hike on our first day of our trip and it was the highlight of my week. I went during the rainy season which I’m a fan of the jungle. Just prepare for the humidity and heat. So a lot of water and electrolytes as it’s not an easy short hike but I was well aware of that. Curiel brought snacks, electrolytes to share, took us to a small local restaurant in the mountains before a hike for some of the best birria I have ever had. The breakfast was paid for by Curiel. He took on the hike with just my wife and I with 1 day notice. So he happened to be open the day I was available and made an amazing adventure. Curiel is very knowledgeable about the plants, birds, and wildlife in general. He also has an amazing personality and is very friendly and outgoing. I will definitely only be booking with Curiel for my future hikes.

If you want to swim or snorkel in deep, blue crystal waters off of Marietas Islands and enjoy the magic of Majahuitas beach club with lunch in the same day, then book this tour. The price is affordable for an all day excursion (8am to 3:30pm). The tour guide, Felipe, and crew - Kevin, Francesco, Alex, and Fernando - were friendly, extremely attentive and knowledgeable, and fun. Our tour was in English and Spanish. The swimming at Marietas was great! Between the swimming/snorkeling at Marietas and lunch/beach time, they provided refreshments, including an open bar. The staff at Majahuitas also made a delicious lunch with cold drinks. On the boat ride back, Felipe and his crew surprised us with a show-lots of singing and dancing. There were lots of cold drinks and music on our return trip to the port. Overall, this was a fantastic way to experience Puerto Vallarta!

We loved our private adventure with Oceanus to Tres Marietas. Eduardo was our primary contact. He agreed to pick us (husband, wife, 10 year old son) up from our local hotel and drive us to the pier. Upon arrival, Eduardo gave my son and I a 30 minute surfing lesson and included boogie boards as well on the gentle waves next to the pier. Then, he introduced use to Tomas, our personal guide, and our boat captain. We were taken on a 25-30 foot boat out to Hidden Beach first. I thought we would be part of a small group, but it ended up being a private tour! Tomas secured our phone/camera in a waterproof container and led us under the tunnel to Hidden Beach! We spent 30 minutes or so in the beach area and Tomas took wonderful photographs of our family from several angles that he knew would be great. He answered all of my son's questions patiently. We swam back and toured the islands from the boat, seeing other landmarks and observing lots of wildlife. Then, we snorkeled at Skull Rock with many colorful fish and visited another beach on a neighboring island. All in all, it was about 3 hours on the adventure. Upon our return, Eduardo had prepared a delicious shrimp ceviche for my wife and I and had purchased a special quesadilla for my picky eating son, which we ate on a beach adjacent to the pier. Eduardo offered additional surfing time before safely driving us back to our resort. I thought it was an excellent value and a lot of fun for $700USD, inclusive of gratuity. I think it would be a great trip for families of up to 8-10 people or couples wanting a romantic adventure together. I highly recommend Oceanus, Eduardo, and Tomas in Punta Mita.

How delightful to be picked up at our hotel on time by Jose (Pepe), a true PV native, who drove us up the mountain to San Sebastian and gave us plenty of history and tips along the way. This is butterfly season - we drove through swarms of butterflies on the way into the Sierra Madre. The tequila/raicilla tasting at Don Lalin was wonderful as was lunch at El Comedor de Lupita in San Sebastian, a local authentic Mexican restaurant - the chicken mole was superb. We enjoyed popping into the local shops and walking around the town. Unfortunately, the plaza is being repaired right now, but it's still a lovely day trip, especially now in the off season since it's much cooler in the mountains and traffic is less crazy!
