Puerto Vallarta Dining Experiences

This was the most amazing experience. From the time with left the dock until we arrived at the island adventure. Absolutely everything was timed and choreographed. So well organized. Our host David on Boat 4 were. PHENOMENAL! We saw a pod of dolphins on the way there and were entertained with a hilarious lip sync show on the way home!Alma, freaking awesome. The costumes, the colours, the lights, the acrobatics..insane. I was in awe all evening.It ended with a delicious buffet and fabulous service. Book the VIP, it's well with the money.

This is a wonderful day excursion! We were treated like family and had an amazing day! Fabio was our tour guide and was impeccable with detail for our trip from start to finish! We learned bits and pieces of history and the culture on the drive to the ranch from our pick up spot. The ranch itself was inviting and classic Mexican. The horses were beautifully groomed and appointed. All horses were very friendly and well trained. Anyone of any skill would be able to do this tour without a problem. It was an amazing experience to swim with the horse – a unique experience, having ridden horses, a good number of times. The refined tequila tasting was a lovely experience come along with history. And their fine selection of tequila’s and agave syrup were reasonably priced, if youenjoy refined liquors as such. Our meal at the ranch was outstanding and they easily accommodated for food, allergies. All in all, I would absolutely this to other friends, family, and for a business adventure. Thank you again, Fabioso! And we are so excited for your upcoming wedding!

Everything was so easy right from booking, checking in, instructions for dining and arriving at the show!The boat ride to the site was a perfect pace (and our kids were lucky enough to stop and watch the whales for a bit), the staff made it great fun and the rum punch is yummy!The buffet was delicious and hot and there was more than enough food while the show was spectacular! Just can’t say enough about what a great night we had!We will likely make this an annual event when we go to Mexico because we enjoyed it so much!!

What a fantastic experience this was! We were in Puerto Vallarta via a cruise ship and wanted to do a local cooking experience while in port instead of a cruise excursion. Before the tour started, Jeanne, our tour guide, was excellent at communicating and making sure we didn't have any dietary restrictions and giving us instructions on how to get to the meeting point.Jeanne is an amazing and patient guide! She readily answered all our questions and was so enthusiastic about everywhere we went! You can tell she really loves her city. She gave us a brief tour of the town, which happened to have Dias de los Muertos decorations up and explained the cultural significance. We were then led to a local tortilleria and learned about the tortilla-making progress and ate some freshly made tortillas, a small coffee shop to taste Mexican coffee, and then had a tour through the local fish and produce street market where we learned about all the different ingredients. Jeanne is very knowledgable! Afterwards, we had a cooking lesson at a restaurant where the head chef personally taught us how to make guacamole, enchiladas, use a tortilla press, and 2 different cocktails. We were also served some very delicious salsa. At this restaurant, we also had a delightful blind tasting test of around 14 different items that Jeanne had picked up from the market. I won't spoil what those were, it was definitely fun time guessing what some of the ingredients could be.I highly recommend Authentik Tours with Jeanne. After our tour, she gave us some recommendations on what else we could see nearby before we had to head back to our ship. We also really liked that she helped us take photos and videos and sent them to us, so we could enjoy our trip more easily. We'll definitely be looking to do other tours with Authentik Tours again in the future next time we're in the area!

Amazing tour—totally worth it. We discovered parts of Puerto Vallarta we wouldn’t have found on our own, and Manny (easy to spot in his red golf shirt) was a fantastic guide. The smoked marlin tacos, fresh ceviche, and paletas were standout favourites. A must for seafood fans and anyone wanting to explore the city in a unique, memorable way.

Expectations were met! It was really fun and different. We loved the tequila as well. The guide was quite informative which made it more interesting

We were the only 2 on this adventure so it felt very private. Our two tour guides Paulo y Chuy were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time! From zip lines to repel and free fall as well as the river descent, all were great

Amazing! We did the night dinner and literally all the pirates were exceptional, but our pirate “Ruly” was phenomenal. The show, the drinks, the service. And the band was so well synchronized, there are not enough words to define how great it was. Would say the night cruise is more geared for adults so if you have little ones maybe the day cruise is the better choice.

So fun and engaging! The entire crew made it a fun and memorable event! So many laughs, singing and the best lobster I've ever had! Great job! I highly recommend this excursion. Danny was amazing and our pirate Albie was awesome! The band was just perfect! Thanks again from the Idaho family!

This was our third time taking this adventure, and even though the story line has not changed, we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time we saw it! The cast and crew members are simply amazing. They're hands on and solid dudes. We were so well taken care of. Raven has been our pirate twice now, and both times he was excellent. Our cups were never empty, and we were always very confident with what we were supposed to be doing- from the dock to the boat and back, we felt like we were covered! The show itself is amazing. It's funny, it's adventurous, just delightful. The first time we went was with adults only, and then we had to come back with each of our kids. They absolutely loved it, and everyone was so great to them! Seriously, no complaints. A great experience well worth the price. Food was decent, atmosphere fantastic. So cool. Everything from the deck to below, even the bathrooms- you gotta check it out!

Best ever! I had a personal pirate, Alligator. He’s the best. Great meal and everything was perfectly entertaining. Where else can you dance with a pirate?

This show is a must! The boat ride there was fantastic. Sunset was gorgeous and we saw whales. Dinner was great. Show was spectacular. Don't miss it!

From beginning to end the tour was beyond amazing! The artistry, skill and passion from all who created the experience was sooo apparent….The sunset cruise, show, dinner and even the after party were all on point! Maria Jose, Cool Destinations staff recommended the tour through the use of her knowledge and skills for the area while answering all of my questions. I truly felt that Maria wanted me to attend a tour that would be memorable…and that it was!!

Such a fun and unique day! The hike through the countryside and local villages was scenic and authentic. Finishing at the rancho with great food and a pool was unforgettable. Perfect balance of nature, culture, and fun!

A fantastic experience, especially if you love great food and drinks! The tequila tasting was excellent and really well explained, and the unlimited margaritas were flowingggggg. The Mexican BBQ was delicious and plentiful, making the rancho feel like the perfect reward after the hike. Amazing atmosphere!
