Puerto Vallarta Dining Experiences

It was alr ig yk so chill but like there wasn't a lot of time at the waterfall. Would appreciate if we had more time and had lunch at 12 instead of 1 or 2.

We had a great time with the crew and the experience! They were very helpful, friendly, and informative! Would definitely recommend again. Danny and Nolberto was amazing!

we were walking by and happen to stumble upon this tequila tasting and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in PV. Saul was soo incredibly kind and funny. He walked us through all the different tequilas and spirits with his own special flare. We walked out of there a little wobbly but with a great memory and a few new amazing bottles of tequila.

This was the most amazing experience. From the time with left the dock until we arrived at the island adventure. Absolutely everything was timed and choreographed. So well organized. Our host David on Boat 4 were. PHENOMENAL! We saw a pod of dolphins on the way there and were entertained with a hilarious lip sync show on the way home!Alma, freaking awesome. The costumes, the colours, the lights, the acrobatics..insane. I was in awe all evening.It ended with a delicious buffet and fabulous service. Book the VIP, it's well with the money.

Beautiful area and atmosphere for tequila tasting. Jose was incredible and made the experience well worth it.

We had a great day with Juan Carlos as our tour guide for the Hirseback/Snorkel/beach lunch tour. We booked it through the Cruise ship we visited PV on. We first boated down the coast to start the day with an adventurous Horseback ride through the forest. Next we snorkeled for 30 min along a different area of coast and then boated further down coast to a secluded beach village with a great lunch and open bar waiting for us. Very relaxing way to end the tour day eating lunch under beach umbrellas and swimming in the warm ocean. Juan Carlos was a great guide and very helpful and patient with everyone.

Everything was so easy right from booking, checking in, instructions for dining and arriving at the show!The boat ride to the site was a perfect pace (and our kids were lucky enough to stop and watch the whales for a bit), the staff made it great fun and the rum punch is yummy!The buffet was delicious and hot and there was more than enough food while the show was spectacular! Just can’t say enough about what a great night we had!We will likely make this an annual event when we go to Mexico because we enjoyed it so much!!

This is an awesome company. Easy to deal with and honest. This adventure is one of the greatest ones I've ever been on. I use this company every time I'm in the area and it's the best I've ever dealt with.

What a fantastic experience this was! We were in Puerto Vallarta via a cruise ship and wanted to do a local cooking experience while in port instead of a cruise excursion. Before the tour started, Jeanne, our tour guide, was excellent at communicating and making sure we didn't have any dietary restrictions and giving us instructions on how to get to the meeting point.Jeanne is an amazing and patient guide! She readily answered all our questions and was so enthusiastic about everywhere we went! You can tell she really loves her city. She gave us a brief tour of the town, which happened to have Dias de los Muertos decorations up and explained the cultural significance. We were then led to a local tortilleria and learned about the tortilla-making progress and ate some freshly made tortillas, a small coffee shop to taste Mexican coffee, and then had a tour through the local fish and produce street market where we learned about all the different ingredients. Jeanne is very knowledgable! Afterwards, we had a cooking lesson at a restaurant where the head chef personally taught us how to make guacamole, enchiladas, use a tortilla press, and 2 different cocktails. We were also served some very delicious salsa. At this restaurant, we also had a delightful blind tasting test of around 14 different items that Jeanne had picked up from the market. I won't spoil what those were, it was definitely fun time guessing what some of the ingredients could be.I highly recommend Authentik Tours with Jeanne. After our tour, she gave us some recommendations on what else we could see nearby before we had to head back to our ship. We also really liked that she helped us take photos and videos and sent them to us, so we could enjoy our trip more easily. We'll definitely be looking to do other tours with Authentik Tours again in the future next time we're in the area!

Amazing tour—totally worth it. We discovered parts of Puerto Vallarta we wouldn’t have found on our own, and Manny (easy to spot in his red golf shirt) was a fantastic guide. The smoked marlin tacos, fresh ceviche, and paletas were standout favourites. A must for seafood fans and anyone wanting to explore the city in a unique, memorable way.

We were the only 2 on this adventure so it felt very private. Our two tour guides Paulo y Chuy were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time! From zip lines to repel and free fall as well as the river descent, all were great

If you’re interested in tequila, the Premium Tequila Tasting Puerto Vallarta experience at Vallarta Tequila Tastings is absolutely worth doing.Home to Puerto Vallarta’s only tequila distillery, they specialize in small-batch, high-quality tequila, and the entire tasting experience is both fun and incredibly informative. My teacher, Saul, was fantastic—very knowledgeable and passionate about tequila. He explained the entire production process in a way that was easy to understand, along with the differences between the various styles of tequila.We tasted six different types of tequila, each with its own unique character, and also sampled several flavoured tequilas. The coffee tequila was my personal favourite—smooth, rich, and dangerously good.One of the coolest parts of the experience was being able to personally engrave the bottle I purchased, which makes for a great souvenir or gift.If you want to learn more about tequila while tasting some excellent small-batch varieties, this is a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommended!

Saul was a great host. Super engaging and knowledgeable. The tasting was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend it for a fun midday activity.
