Great Value, great service. Easy to find, engaged staff. Captain took his time, very pleasant. Also, he didn't rush back when we were close to the end, he chased the best and biggest tail and fin slaps and a complete out-of-the-water breach.

We saw whales right away. The port tax is 41 pesos per person and you have to pay cash. You meet down the road at the security. The entire ride was shorter than the three hours probably more like 2 1/2. There was no water bottle included as it says. They asked the group if anyone had to go to the store for a drink. Would recommend because it felt safe with the lifejackets and the boat operators found whales right away. And the price was reasonable for what was offered.

Directions were a little confusing with their online translation, but otherwise great experience! We were able to see some whales (mama & baby), visit los Arcos, and spend some time hiking and enjoying a very cool beach. Thank you!

Good whale watching
We got a good look of whales. Saw them up close and even saw a mother and her baby dive and showing their tails. The trip was considerably shorter than three hours, but we were ready to go back. The description promised max 18 people, but there weee over 30 people in the boat.

Our cruise was later docking than we expected. We were late for our tour and got a call from Cool Puerto Vallarta. They made arrangements for another smaller boat to pick us up with another couple. We were successful being able to find a few whales. We were promised a bottle of water, which would have been very nice. We weren't out 3 hours as we'd hoped for, since thats what we paid for. I was grateful we got to go and that we saw whales. Glad someone on the boat spoke Spanish. We wouldn't have been able to communicate with the Captain.

By happenstance, my wife and I had a private 3-hour tour with our guide. The boats never take more than 8 people at a time but we got lucky. We probably saw over 30 whales throughout the afternoon with some of the pods just coming up for air and others playing on the surface. There were babies slapping their pectoral fins on the surface and more mature whales breaching and doing acrobatics for us. We probably never went more than about 15 minutes looking for the next group of whales. Our guide was very experienced at getting close by cutting the motor and drifting in. It was quite an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend them.

We didn’t see many whales but the tour guide was kind enough to take us to the Los Arcos for Snorkelling! Heads up to wear your swimsuits and bring towels! The Guide also didn’t speak very much English but it didn’t affect the ability to enjoy the tour. There is also an additional $39.00 Peso Port Charge so I’d recommend coming with $40 Pesos for that as the exchange rates from USD or CAD is poor. Overall I recommend and would take this tour again, but I believe the tips above will make it more enjoyable
