Puerto Vallarta Thermal Spas & Hot Springs

When you first arrive off the ship you have to take a taxi to the glass mirror at the other end of town. Your drivers comes and picks you up and takes you to another driver that driver then takes you to the Hot Springs. It was the most beautiful place. My husband and I have been the service was wonderful. food was great. We even got to do tequila tasting and that was well worth the two bottles that we bought. Then we had lunch and had our feet rubbed and were able to swim in the pool. The tour guide made sure that we had enough time to get back to the ship and he took us all the way to the drop off point close to the ship. The only thing I would recommend about this tour would be that in the future hopefully the driver can be closer to the ship so you don’t have to worry about how to get to the glass mirror at the other end of town. We were fortunate and our taxi driver only cost us five dollars each to take us to the mirror but the whole rest of the excursion was amazing even though it was 40 minutes away from the ship. When booking this excursion do not book any excursions with it so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and have time to relax in the volcanic Hot Springs.

So relaxing great to get out of the city the area is beautiful and our tour guide was great! The message on the beach received mixed reviews from our group but still well worth the tour!!!

We had a great experience on this tour. Lots of thought put into to the trip. Jose is engaging and encouraged us to select fresh fruits and vegetables that he later uses to cook a delicious meal. The drive had a balance of beauty, stops for a break, and was informative. The natural springs are remote, therapeutic, and serene. The massage was on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing in the background. The homemade chocolate treats at the end were an unexpected bonus. (Compliments of his wife, thank you!) I would highly recommend this trip if you want a low key, relaxing day.*We didn’t take pics at the springs or beach since we were just enjoying the atmosphere and relaxing.

This hike is so special and leads to an extraordinary place. We felt honored to have this opportunity shared with us. It's worth every step and our guide Eduardo is an incredible person. We more than enjoyed our trip with him, we will cherish it always.

Eduardo is such an amazing guide and person. The trip feels less like a tour and more like having a local friend take you on a day out. He knows the area well and tells you interesting tidbits along the way. The hot spring itself is amazing. He makes sure we have plenty of time to spend at the pool to thoroughly take in the sights and relax. On the way back we stopped at a local restaurant for delicious tacos. It was a wonderful and super enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

This excursion was one of the best overall excursions we’ve been on. The trip starts with an almost hour bus ride to the location, which is at La Dulce Vista. The area is really beautiful and is tucked away in the mountains. We started with a tequila tasting, which consisted of 6 different tequilas from La Dulce Vista. They were all really good, and we were shown how to properly drink and experience tequila. We went to the hot spring where we were asked how long we wanted to spend there. We stayed about 45 minutes there, which was nice and relaxing. We then went to get ready for lunch and were taught how to make salsa. The salsa and the Mexican barbecue lunch were really good. We then got 1.5 hours to utilize the pool and their other amenities. I would highly recommend going on this excursions. La Dulce Vista also has rooms and day passes as well. We will be back!

This truly is a unique experience. Jose Antonio is truly knowledgeable about local culture , geography and history of this area. We were only the 4 of us our family and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs and the special meal prepares by Antonio. He took us to a local tortilla factory and we picked the vegetables and fruits. He made sure we got a good selection as we are vegetarian and grilled and prepared delicious meals. He then took us to Bucerías and we got one of the best massages by the local therapists on the beach. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic and unique experience. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

This was one of our favorite things we did in Puerto Vallarta! Antonio was so friendly and we felt like we were being catered to by him. It was a day of relaxation. You don’t have to worry about lunch, because he does everything. The food was excellent! Then, the massage on the beach at the end of the day was the cherry on top.

Peaceful nature walk that follows a beautiful river to the hot spring pools. A absolute wonderful way to begin your morning. Eduardo was friendly and generous with local information and a history of his culture. Hot pools had a lovely view of the river and canyon. I experienced the clay amazing massage, too! I can't wait to do this again!

Wonderful tour away from the city and to relax in nature. Eduardo is a thoughtful guide and very knowledgeable! The walk is quite easy but be prepared to walk in water (water shoes are best because the river bottom is rocky). So much fun and so beautiful to bathe in the hot water and cool off in the creek. Definitely recommend!

Antonio and assistant Andrea were the best. So accommodating! Antonio was mindful of allergies, picked us up close to our stay, super pleasant and humorous! Made sure we were all hydrated along the way. Andrea always made sure to get our good side when taking pictures Can’t stop saying good things about them! They made the trip extra special!

Fantastic experience. If taking part in this excursion from a cruise ship, verify timing prior to booking. Tony was great, worked within our schedule constraints and we had an amazing day.

This is one of those truly special experiences that you almost want to keep secret. While the drive to the hot springs is a bit of a journey, the peace and tranquility waiting for you there make it completely worth it.We loved the stops at the local market and tortilla factory along the way, and how Tony personalized the experience by letting us help choose the fresh fruits and vegetables for the snacks and lunch he prepared — all of which was absolutely delicious.It was the perfect escape from the busy energy of the city. Spending a few quiet hours relaxing in nature and unwinding in our private pool was incredibly refreshing, and sharing fresh food and conversation with Tony made the experience feel even more meaningful.The massages on the way back were the perfect finishing touch, allowing us to stay relaxed just a little longer before returning to PV. Throughout the entire day, Tony added thoughtful little touches that showed how much he genuinely cares about creating a unique, personal, and memorable experience for his guests.

The best experience of the vacation to Puerto Vallarta. Charming and knowledgeable host, beautiful destination, and a much needed massage. I loved getting a glimpse into the life of the locals and picking out the produce we would enjoy later. The hot springs were relaxing and a break from the bustle of downtown PV. This is a highly recommended experience.
