We loved our taco tour! All the tacos were wonderful. Sylvia knew the history of all the taco shops and recommended salsa pairings for each item that brought out the best flavors. She also pointed out additional places for us to try on our own. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and wants to learn some local culture.

We booked the Signature City Tour: The Private Experience with Obi Tours in Puerto Vallarta, and it exceeded every expectation. Obi picked us up right from our resort and gave us a full 7 hours of pure magic, weaving together the culture and history of Puerto Vallarta in a way that felt personal and alive, not like a rehearsed script.We never once felt rushed. Obi thoughtfully planned out our day so that when it was time to go shopping, it was scheduled for the latter part of the trip, so we didn't have to haul bags around while we were still touring. When it was time to eat, he introduced us to a new restaurant tucked away in a secluded area that felt like a tropical paradise overlooking the river, it was such a special find.What made this tour truly special was Obi himself. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like old friends catching up rather than strangers on a tour. As a fellow entrepreneur, I found our conversations along the way genuinely inspiring, hearing about his journey, his positivity, and his dreams for the future added a whole extra layer to the day that I wasn't expecting but deeply appreciated.You can tell Obi truly loves what he does, and that passion is contagious. By the end of our time together, he had made us believers in Obi Tours, and we can't wait to see this business grow. This was also the tour that made my birthday one I'll never forget.My phone unfortunately decided it would no longer turn on today, so all the pictures I took while on the tour are just on hold until I can get my phone fixed, but Obi took so many pictures along the way that I'm not even worried; I can't wait to see them when they get emailed over.If you're visiting Puerto Vallarta and want more than just a sightseeing trip, if you want a real, meaningful experience with someone who cares, book Obi Tours. Our tour was a really special experience! We went to a macaw sanctuary and learned about conservation efforts to protect and re-populate the indigenous macaw population. We saw a total of anout 30-35 nesting birds, in pairs and family units. It was inspiring to say the least! After the macaws, we had an amazing breakfast at a tiny restaurant where we were treated like family. After breakfast we hiked a trail up along a small river. At the top we found a beautiful waterfall and lagoon, where we swam for an hour or so in the crisp clear river water. It was so refreshing! During the entire half day together, Curiel was a constant source of happy banter, interesting information about the local environment and people. Being a local, or “Pata Salada” he certainly knows his way around. I highly recommend his tours!

I can’t say enough positive things about Curiel. He’s the owner of this business and currently is the only guide. We did the Mismaloya Waterfall hike on our first day of our trip and it was the highlight of my week. I went during the rainy season which I’m a fan of the jungle. Just prepare for the humidity and heat. So a lot of water and electrolytes as it’s not an easy short hike but I was well aware of that. Curiel brought snacks, electrolytes to share, took us to a small local restaurant in the mountains before a hike for some of the best birria I have ever had. The breakfast was paid for by Curiel. He took on the hike with just my wife and I with 1 day notice. So he happened to be open the day I was available and made an amazing adventure. Curiel is very knowledgeable about the plants, birds, and wildlife in general. He also has an amazing personality and is very friendly and outgoing. I will definitely only be booking with Curiel for my future hikes.
