I had the pleasure of spending about 5 hours on the farm with Laura and Hector (The protector :). Each staff member was so attentive and helpful; the experience was like being with family. The time spent was particularly special for me because it mirrors, to a very large extent, my upbringing on a rural arm in Jamaica. The real beauty was in the ease and enjoyment of relating, learning and sharing with the staff. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending that, if you are in the area, this is a must-visit experience.Also, ask Laura about their coffee production village, and be sure to buy a large bag of coffee, processed the old-fashioned way. We had a great day with Juan Carlos as our tour guide for the Hirseback/Snorkel/beach lunch tour. We booked it through the Cruise ship we visited PV on. We first boated down the coast to start the day with an adventurous Horseback ride through the forest. Next we snorkeled for 30 min along a different area of coast and then boated further down coast to a secluded beach village with a great lunch and open bar waiting for us. Very relaxing way to end the tour day eating lunch under beach umbrellas and swimming in the warm ocean. Juan Carlos was a great guide and very helpful and patient with everyone.

My husband and I had an amazing authentic cooking experience at La casa de Abuela with Pepe and Rosa! They’re both so friendly and easy to be around. We are whole food plant based (vegan), and they catered the meal completely to accommodate us. The food was TO DIE FOR. Literally, of all the places we ate during our 10 day stay, this was hands down THE BEST! We loved learning how to cook all of it and especially loved eating it ☺️ 10 out of 10 experience, highly recommend if you like authentic, unique moments while traveling! This is for you.

Best I’ve done yet! There’s everything there! I jumped off a rock into the water, hiked, ziplined, rode 4 wheelers, mules, crossed bridges , sat at a bar drank tequila and enjoyed the view. Can’t wait to go back!

This was a fantastic tasting experience! Our tasting was led by Sylvia and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. We were new to trying agave spirits and only knew a bit about tequila. Sylvia made us laugh and feel comfortable identifying tasting notes and it wasn't an intimidating experience. This tasting made me appreciate the agave plant and the hard work that goes into creating these amazing spirits. I would highly recommend staying for another cocktail after the tour. We had the El Sazon, the Iku, and the Paloma. All three were amazing and the best cocktails we have ever had (and we've been to a lot of cocktail bars in a lot of countries).
