Things to do on Christmas Eve in Puerto Vallarta (Updated 2026)

This is my second time going and it was just as incredible as the first time. EcoTours makes it all so easy. They blend education and experience perfectly. It’s a truly magical experience. We even saw a Turtle on the beach actively laying eggs in our walk back to the van. Our guide made sure everyone stayed a respectable distance away and use red light so as not to disturb her but allowing people to get pictures. And they alerted the Turtle Camp so they could come protect the nest. They don’t just call the talk of ecotourism they live it. And the guide is top notch. I 100% recommend!

We had Christian as our host guide on the bus. It turned out my wife and I were the only ones on the bus for the 3+hours, so Christian acted as our private tour guide. We had adequate time at each stop and he gave descriptions and history of everything we were seeing. Great guy. We had the best time. We saw a lot and would rate the HOHO a 10 out of 10.

Absolute best experience - will do it again and am excited to bring friends. Uli was the best guide. Being older he legit hauled my old ass up the cliff so I could enjoy the jump (which was such a rush) and encouraged others. One gent got scared and he rallied everyone to cheer for him until he not only enjoyed the cliff dive but felt super supported. Kiki was an awesome captain, too.When we got to Los Arcos the snorkeling was super chill and fun. We had kids, seniors, everyone on our tour and we all could do it. If someone was struggling, Uli, was right there. But the waters were calm and tranquil. Really loved how he and Kiki pointed out all the landmarks, made sure everyone felt cared for and had a good time without feeling like an oddball (which, me being a 51 year old solo traveler was awesome). I travel to Mexico a lot but have never stopped in PV before. Will now stop again to enjoy the tour again thanks to the great experience I had and how much fun it was and how cool the snorkeling was. Can't praise Uli and Kiki enough and don't sleep on this tour. Perfect for all ages, supportive and fun staff who are never condescending. Coulda had more beer on board but whatever. Only suggestions for participants: bring swim shoes to get up the rock for cliff diving as it gets slippery if you're barefoot.

I had such a fun time! Their website had a discount so my boyfriend and I decided to book (one of the best decisions)! All the staff was really nice especially Livier (our server) and all the guys who helped us during the zipline! They’re all so nice and I recommend the camarones.

I recently visited Los Veranos in Mexico and had an unforgettable adventure. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and safe. The highlight of my experience was meeting all the animals, which left me thrilled and smiling the entire time. The Food was also Amazing!!The entire setup felt well-organized, and the scenery while zipping through the treetops was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for an exciting and memorable experience in Mexico. Overall, I would rate Los Veranos 5 out of 5 stars!

I’ve done cooking classes before, but Gaby’s was on a completely different level. Everything was from scratch! we learned how to pick out fresh ingredients, where to find the best local food, and then got to cook and eat everything with an amazing view.I honestly lost count of how many things we made! Every dish had a gourmet chef twist and tasted like something you’d order at a restaurant. And I grew up eating Mexican food, so I’m not easily impressed 😂. The fact that we actually helped make all of this ourselves made it even better.We’ll definitely be coming back to try the other classes. If you love food, you HAVE to take this class!
