We had an excellent food tour by Brenda. We went to 8 different restaurants and ate way too much great food. The restaurants were all long time family restaurants. She would tell us about each one and explain the different heat levels. She could explain a lot of the history of Old Town PV. It was a great sampling of PV dishes.

All good. Bernardo met us on time. We happened to be the only 2. Other times over the years companies have cancelled due small group. Kudos to follow through. Bernardo interacted like family with almost all of the restaurant workers. The food was splendid, a drink of savory fruit drink stop as well as dessert. Not only learned some new sauce options but plenty of History and architecture was a big part of the conversation. Definitely worth your time

It’s an excellent tour! Manu was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide.We didn’t go to places that “every other tour” takes you to, he led us around to restaurants and hole in the wall places serving up some amazing food! If you have a choice of food tours while you’re here, definitely choose this one.And definitely get the drink package!!!

Great half day Macaws and waterfall
Our tour was a really special experience! We went to a macaw sanctuary and learned about conservation efforts to protect and re-populate the indigenous macaw population. We saw a total of anout 30-35 nesting birds, in pairs and family units. It was inspiring to say the least! After the macaws, we had an amazing breakfast at a tiny restaurant where we were treated like family. After breakfast we hiked a trail up along a small river. At the top we found a beautiful waterfall and lagoon, where we swam for an hour or so in the crisp clear river water. It was so refreshing! During the entire half day together, Curiel was a constant source of happy banter, interesting information about the local environment and people. Being a local, or “Pata Salada” he certainly knows his way around. I highly recommend his tours!

If you go, I hope you get Karla, she was a real gem and showed our little group some amazing places. Very knowledgeable, incredible and it seemed like she knew every third person we passed.
